Mastro's Ocean Club

This seaside outlet of the popular steakhouse has some of the most pristine views in Malibu. While the steaks won't necessarily cater to the dry-aging set, the wet-aged examples here are tender, flavorful, and crowd pleasing. The suave service and familiar fare makes this an easy-to-recommend spot for anyone looking for an ocean-view restaurant in Malibu.

“Steak with a scene” sums up this glamorous chophouse in Malibu (with a sib in Newport Beach) offering “amazing” cuts and seafood along with “great martinis” and “professional” service in a “spectacular” (if sometimes “noisy”) ocean-adjacent location with “killer views”; most agree it's “definitely an expense-account type of place”, but if you can score “a window seat at sunset”, it “seems worth it.”

5 Star Review - Zagat

Came here for my 2 year anniversary. Extremely friendly staff, extremely good food! Had the Tomahawk wagyu steak and the live maine lobster and it was HEAVENLY! Will definitely be back again. I believe my waiter's name was Ryan M, he was very friendly and knew the menu inside and out as if he was the one doing all the cooking. The creamed corn was amazing as well! I would highly recommend this place to anybody who can afford it. and what an amazing view! My only regret is giving the leftovers to my parents when I got home. - Christian Figueroa
